Privacy Policy for CBAT ADF

Tech Kangaroos (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the CBAT ADF mobile application for iOS and Android.

This Privacy Policy explains how CBAT ADF accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the application.

1. Information processed by CBAT ADF

CBAT ADF processes the following information locally on your device:

iOS profile information

When you use Sign in with Apple, the application may receive and locally store:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address or Apple private relay email address
  • The unique Apple user identifier supplied to the application

Apple may provide your name and email only during the initial authorization. The saved profile is displayed as read-only within CBAT ADF.

Android profile information

The Android application allows you to create a local profile containing:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address

This profile is stored locally and cannot be edited inside the current version of the application.

Training information

CBAT ADF stores information about your practice activity, including:

  • Modules completed
  • Answers and calculated scores
  • Number of correct answers
  • Session dates and durations
  • Personal bests, averages, and practice streaks
  • Application preferences, such as sound and haptic settings

2. Local storage

Profile information, training history, and preferences are stored within the application’s private storage on your device.

Tech Kangaroos does not operate a server that receives or stores this information.

Depending on your device and account settings, locally stored application data may be included in an Apple iCloud backup, Google device backup, or another operating-system backup service. These backups are controlled by the applicable platform provider and your device settings.

3. Sign in with Apple

The iOS version uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. Apple processes the authorization request and may provide an email address, private relay address, name, and application-specific user identifier.

Tech Kangaroos does not receive your Apple Account password.

Apple’s handling of information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

4. In-app purchases

CBAT ADF offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks advanced practice modules.

Purchases are processed by:

  • Apple App Store and StoreKit on iOS
  • Google Play Billing on Android

Tech Kangaroos does not receive or store your payment-card number, bank details, or Apple/Google account password.

The application receives only the purchase and entitlement information required to unlock content, verify ownership, and restore purchases.

Google’s handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The current version of CBAT ADF:

  • Does not contain third-party advertising
  • Does not use third-party analytics SDKs
  • Does not use advertising identifiers
  • Does not track users across applications or websites
  • Does not sell personal information
  • Does not share profile or training information with advertisers or data brokers
  • Does not access location, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or health information

6. How information is used

Locally stored information is used only to:

  • Display your read-only profile
  • Operate practice tests
  • Calculate and display results
  • Record practice history and progress
  • Restore your settings between sessions
  • Determine whether advanced content has been purchased

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

7. Data sharing

Tech Kangaroos does not transmit your locally stored profile or training history to a developer-operated server.

Apple and Google may independently process information when providing authentication, purchasing, backup, fraud prevention, security, or platform services. Their handling of that information is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required by applicable law. However, because Tech Kangaroos does not maintain a server containing your local profile or training history, we generally do not possess that information.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your profile, practice history, and preferences remain on your device while the application and its data remain installed.

You can delete locally stored information by:

  • Deleting CBAT ADF from your iPhone or iPad
  • Clearing CBAT ADF’s storage through Android settings
  • Uninstalling CBAT ADF from your Android device

Deleting local application data does not cancel or delete purchase records maintained by Apple or Google. Store purchase history may remain available so that a non-consumable purchase can be restored.

You can manage or revoke Sign in with Apple authorization through your Apple Account settings.

9. Security

CBAT ADF relies on the application sandbox, operating-system protections, and platform-provided authentication and payment systems to protect information.

No storage or security system can guarantee absolute protection. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple or Google account.

10. Children’s privacy

CBAT ADF is a general educational practice application and is not specifically directed to children under 13.

Tech Kangaroos does not knowingly transmit or collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated server. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us using the details below.

11. International processing

Tech Kangaroos does not transfer locally stored profile or training data to its own servers.

Apple, Google, and device backup providers may process information in countries outside your place of residence according to their privacy policies and applicable safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The revised policy will display a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application or store listing.
